I decided to do something artsy again and the medium I picked was paper cut-out. Why?
Paper cut-outs have become a tradition in the Polish folk culture in the 19th century. One might ask why such a "modern" idea appeals to me. The reason is that they often express cosmological ideas stemming from our native culture. Just like the much older art of embroidery. So I decided to try. This of course is a very rugged version of the cut-out, but who knows, maybe I will learn. I made this one for a friend as a wedding gift. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
